Mid State Trail (Pennsylvania)

The Mid State Trail (MST) is a long-distance hiking trail located entirely within the state of Pennsylvania. It stretches approximately 327 miles (526 km) north-south, traversing a variety of terrains, including mountains, forests, farmlands, and some limited stretches of road walking. The trail's southern terminus is near the Pennsylvania-Maryland border at the Mason-Dixon Line, and the northern terminus is near Lawrenceville, Pennsylvania, close to the New York border.

The MST is known for its rugged and challenging nature, offering a wilderness experience with fewer crowds than some of the more popular trails in the region, such as the Appalachian Trail.
