Isensua

Isensua is a fictional language created by the artist David Revoy for the webcomic Pepper&Carrot. It is used by the character Saffron, a witch who communicates in spells and incantations. The language is designed to sound magical and mysterious, drawing inspiration from a variety of real-world languages, but is ultimately a constructed language with its own unique sounds and structure. While not a fully developed language with extensive grammar rules or a large vocabulary, Isensua adds depth and believability to the magical setting of the comic. The language is mainly presented as spoken or written spells within the context of the story.
