Mesh (band)
Mesh are a British electronic band formed in Bristol, England, in 1992. The band consists of Mark Hockings (vocals) and Richard Silverthorn (keyboards). Initially, Neil Taylor (keyboards) was also a member.
Mesh's music is characterized by its blend of electronic body music (EBM), synth-pop, and alternative electronic influences. They are known for their melodic songwriting, atmospheric soundscapes, and introspective lyrics.
The band released their debut album, Fragile World, in 1994. They have subsequently released numerous studio albums, including Automation Baby (2013), Looking Skyward (2016), and Automation Baby 2.0 (2023), gaining a dedicated fanbase both in the UK and internationally, particularly in Germany.
Mesh have toured extensively throughout Europe and have performed at major electronic music festivals. They are recognized for their energetic live performances and consistent evolution of their sound within the electronic music genre.
