Medernach
Medernach is a village and a former commune in eastern Luxembourg. It is part of the canton of Diekirch, within the district of Diekirch.
Prior to January 1, 2012, Medernach was an independent commune. On that date, it merged with Ermsdorf to form the new commune of Vallée de l'Ernz.
The village is situated in the Ernz valley and is known for its scenic landscapes and proximity to walking and hiking trails.
