Antonis Daglis

Antonis Daglis is a Greek professor of computer science at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). His research interests lie primarily in the areas of dependable computing, fault-tolerant systems, distributed systems, and operating systems.

Daglis received his Diploma in Electrical Engineering from NTUA, and his M.S. and Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, College Park.

His work focuses on improving the reliability, availability, and security of computer systems, particularly those operating in critical environments. He has contributed significantly to the theoretical foundations of fault tolerance, as well as to the practical design and implementation of dependable systems. He is a frequent contributor to academic journals and conferences in the field.

Daglis has also been involved in various European research projects related to dependable and secure computing. He has served on program committees for numerous international conferences and workshops. He is known for his contributions to the understanding and mitigation of software and hardware faults in complex computer systems.
