Massimo Rizzo (ice hockey)

Massimo Rizzo (born June 13, 2001) is an Italian-Canadian ice hockey player. He is a forward currently playing for the University of Denver Pioneers men's ice hockey team.

Rizzo was drafted in the seventh round, 216th overall, by the Carolina Hurricanes in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft. Prior to his collegiate career, he played junior hockey in the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) with the Penticton Vees.

Rizzo has represented Canada internationally at the World Junior A Challenge, winning a silver medal in 2018. He is known for his playmaking ability and offensive skills. He is eligible to sign with the Carolina Hurricanes or become a free agent after his college career.
