Mark Kendall (footballer, born 1958)
Mark Kendall (born 20 September 1958 in Risca, Wales) is a Welsh former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper.
Kendall began his career at Tottenham Hotspur, although he did not make a first-team appearance for them. He moved to Newport County in 1979, becoming a key player for the club and helping them achieve promotion to the Football League Third Division.
He then joined Swansea City, where he spent several seasons and enjoyed success, including playing in the First Division (now the Premier League). He was known for his shot-stopping abilities and consistency.
After his time at Swansea, Kendall played for several other clubs, including Rochdale, Cardiff City, and Shrewsbury Town, before retiring from professional football.
Following his playing career, Kendall worked as a goalkeeping coach, including a stint at Cardiff City.
