Mark Collins (Gaelic footballer)
Mark Collins is an Irish Gaelic footballer who plays for the Castlehaven club and formerly for the Cork senior inter-county team. He primarily plays as a midfielder, but has also featured in forward positions.
Collins enjoyed significant success at club level with Castlehaven, winning Cork Senior Football Championships in 2013 and 2023. He was a consistent performer for Castlehaven throughout his career.
At inter-county level, Collins represented Cork at various grades, including minor, under-21 and senior. He made his senior debut for Cork in 2011. He was known for his work rate, tackling ability and athleticism. His time with Cork's senior team saw him compete in the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship and National Football League. While he was a reliable player, team success at the highest level eluded him during his inter-county career. He retired from inter-county football in 2020.
