Marcelo (footballer, born 1989)
Marcelo Vieira da Silva Júnior (born May 12, 1988), commonly known as Marcelo, is a Brazilian professional footballer who currently plays as a left-back for Fluminense. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest left-backs of all time.
Marcelo began his career with Fluminense, where he quickly established himself as a promising talent. He joined Real Madrid in January 2007 and went on to become a key player for the club for over a decade.
During his time at Real Madrid, Marcelo won numerous titles, including five UEFA Champions League titles, six La Liga titles, two Copa del Rey titles, four FIFA Club World Cups, and five Spanish Super Cups.
