Luther Vandross (album)

Luther Vandross is the self-titled tenth studio album by American singer Luther Vandross, released in 2001. It was his only album released by J Records, after a long tenure with Epic Records. The album features production from several prominent producers, including Vandross himself, Nat Adderley Jr., and Warryn Campbell.

The album spawned the singles "Take You Out" and "Can Heaven Wait," the former reaching the top 30 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Luther Vandross showcased Vandross's signature blend of R&B, soul, and pop, and featured both original material and covers.
