Nagoya

Nagoya is the fourth-most populous city in Japan and the capital of Aichi Prefecture. Located on the Pacific coast on central Honshu, it is a major port and industrial center. It is part of the Chūkyō metropolitan area, the third-largest urban area in Japan.

History: Nagoya's origins can be traced back to the Nara period, with the Atsuta Shrine playing a significant role in its early development.
