Love Lab

Love Lab (Japanese: 恋愛ラボ, Hepburn: Ren'ai Rabo) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Ruri Miyahara. It was serialized in Houbunsha's Manga Time Kirara magazine from 2010 to 2019 and compiled into 13 tankobon volumes.

The story revolves around the Fujisaki Girls' Middle School, a prestigious all-girls school known for its prim and proper students. The school has a rumored "Love Lab" where the student council members are supposedly researching the topic of love. In reality, the student council president, Riko Kurahashi, is a tomboy who is secretly obsessed with practicing "love experiments" based on romantic scenarios she sees in manga. The vice president, Natsuo Maki, is popular and seemingly perfect, but actually clueless about romance and seeks Riko's help in understanding love. The series follows the comedic interactions and evolving relationships between the student council members as they navigate the complexities of love and friendship.

The manga was adapted into a 13-episode anime television series produced by Doga Kobo and aired in Japan between July and September 2013. The anime is generally faithful to the manga, adapting many of the storylines and comedic scenarios. It is known for its lighthearted humor and focus on the characters' personalities and interactions.
