Lola (TV series)

Lola is a Filipino fantasy drama television series broadcast by GMA Network. Originally titled Zaido: Pulis Pangkalawakan, it premiered on September 28, 2009, as part of the network's Telebabad lineup, replacing Dapat Ka Bang Mahalin?. The series concluded on February 5, 2010, with a total of 105 episodes. It was headlined by Rhian Ramos and JC de Vera.

The series revolves around the story of Lola Idang (played by Manilyn Reynes and later Elizabeth Oropesa), a seemingly ordinary grandmother who is secretly a powerful protector of the innocent and fights against evil forces using magical abilities inherited from her ancestors.
