List of Ekushey Padak award recipients (1980–1989)
The Ekushey Padak (Bengali: একুশে পদক), also known as the Ekushey Award, is the highest civilian award in Bangladesh. Instituted in memory of the martyrs of the Language Movement of 1952, the award is given annually by the Government of Bangladesh to individuals and organizations in recognition of their outstanding contributions to various fields, including language and literature, education, arts, science and technology, social service, and liberation war.
