Lippstadt

Lippstadt is a town located in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is the largest town in the Soest district and lies on the Lippe River, from which it derives its name (Stadt meaning city/town). Founded in 1185 by Bernhard II of Lippe, it is considered the oldest planned town in Westphalia.
