Lelio Brancaccio (archbishop)
Lelio Brancaccio (born circa 1537, died November 1599) was an Italian Roman Catholic archbishop. He served as Archbishop of Taranto from 1574 until his death in 1599. Details regarding his early life and specific activities within the archdiocese are sparsely documented, but his tenure aligns with the Counter-Reformation period, suggesting involvement in implementing reforms decreed by the Council of Trent within his diocese. Historical records primarily note his position and the dates of his episcopal service. He was succeeded as Archbishop of Taranto by Juan de Castro.
