Hyundai

Hyundai is a South Korean multinational automotive manufacturer headquartered in Seoul. It was founded in 1967 by Chung Ju-yung and is, along with Kia Corporation, a major part of the Hyundai Motor Group, the world's third-largest vehicle manufacturer by production volume as of 2023.

The company sells its vehicles in numerous countries around the world. Hyundai's vehicle lineup includes passenger cars, SUVs, trucks, and electric vehicles. Over the years, Hyundai has invested significantly in research and development, focusing on alternative fuel technologies and autonomous driving.

Beyond automobiles, the name "Hyundai" is also associated with other large South Korean conglomerates with historical ties, involved in fields such as construction, shipbuilding, and electronics. The automotive division is the most globally recognizable, however.
