Laurein
Laurein is a municipality in South Tyrol, Italy. It is located in the Nonsberg area, roughly 35 kilometers west of Bolzano, the provincial capital. The municipality is part of the Deutschnonsberg (German Nonsberg) area, where the majority of the population speaks German.
Laurein is a small, mountainous community with a primarily agricultural economy. The landscape is characterized by forests and meadows. Tourism, particularly hiking and winter sports, also plays a role in the local economy.
