Léo Borges (footballer, born 2001)

Léo Borges (full name Léo Borges da Silva, born March 3, 2001) is a Brazilian professional footballer who currently plays as a left-back.

Borges began his youth career at Grêmio, progressing through their academy system. He made his professional debut for Grêmio in the Campeonato Gaúcho and later in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A. During his time at Grêmio, he was considered a promising talent in Brazilian football, known for his technical skills, crossing ability, and defensive contributions.

In 2022, Borges transferred to FC Porto in Portugal. He initially played for FC Porto B, the club's reserve team, in Liga Portugal 2. He aims to break into the first team squad and compete in the Primeira Liga.

Borges has also represented Brazil at youth international levels, participating in various tournaments and friendlies. He is eligible to represent Brazil at the senior level.
