Kuji River (Ibaraki)
The Kuji River is a major river located in Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan. It rises in the Yamizo Mountains on the border of Ibaraki and Fukushima Prefectures and flows generally southeastward before emptying into the Pacific Ocean at the city of Hitachi.
The river is approximately 124 kilometers (77 miles) in length. Its drainage basin covers an area of 1,490 square kilometers (580 square miles).
