KonyaRay

KonyaRay is a light rail transit (LRT) system serving the city of Konya in Turkey. It comprises two main lines: Alaaddin-Adliye and Campus-Alaaddin. The system is operated by Konya Metropolitan Municipality.

The KonyaRay project was initiated to address growing transportation needs within Konya and to provide a more efficient and sustainable mode of public transport. The lines connect key areas of the city, including government buildings, educational institutions, residential areas, and commercial centers.

Construction on the first phase of the KonyaRay system began in the early 2000s, with the initial line opening to the public in 2009. Subsequent extensions and expansions have added to the overall length and coverage of the network.
