Komjatice
Komjatice is a village and municipality in the Nitra District in western Slovakia, within the Nitra Region.
Geography
Komjatice lies at an elevation of 142 meters above sea level and covers an area of 25.75 square kilometers (9.94 sq mi). The village is situated in the Danubian Lowland.
History
The first written record of Komjatice dates back to 1256. Historically, the area has been part of the Kingdom of Hungary.
