Kenneth Davis (American football)

Kenneth Davis (born November 3, 1962) is a former American football running back who played in the National Football League (NFL) and the Canadian Football League (CFL).

Davis played college football at Texas Christian University (TCU), where he was a highly decorated player. He earned All-American honors and was a finalist for the Heisman Trophy in 1984, finishing fifth in the voting. He set numerous TCU records for rushing, including career rushing yards and single-season rushing yards.

He was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the third round of the 1986 NFL Draft. Davis played for the Bills from 1986 to 1989, primarily as a backup running back and kick returner. He was part of the Bills team that reached Super Bowl XXV, though he did not play in the game due to injury.

After his time with the Bills, Davis played in the CFL for the Toronto Argonauts in 1990, winning a Grey Cup championship. He then returned to the NFL and played for the San Diego Chargers in 1991. His NFL career ended after that season.

After his playing career, Davis has been involved in various business ventures and community activities. He has also worked as a sports analyst and commentator.
