Keith Perry (politician)

Keith Perry (born January 20, 1957) is an American politician and businessman serving as a Republican member of the Florida Senate, representing District 9 since 2016. District 9 encompasses parts of Alachua, Marion, and Putnam Counties.

Prior to his election to the Florida Senate, Perry served in the Florida House of Representatives, representing District 22 from 2010 to 2016. During his time in the House, he served on various committees.

Perry is a businessman involved in the home building and construction industry. He owns Perry Roofing Contractors, a company he founded. He is a graduate of Santa Fe College.

In the Florida Senate, Perry has focused on issues such as education, economic development, and healthcare. He has sponsored and co-sponsored legislation related to these areas. He has also been involved in discussions and debates surrounding water resources and environmental policy in Florida.
