Keith Armstrong (footballer)

Keith Armstrong (born October 11, 1957, in Corbridge, Northumberland, England, died November 14, 2020, in Kuopio, Finland) was an English football player and manager. He was best known for his extensive playing and managerial career in Finland.

As a player, Armstrong primarily operated as a defender. He began his professional career in England, playing for Newcastle United and later Stockport County.

However, Armstrong's career significantly shifted when he moved to Finland. He played for several Finnish clubs, including Koparit, KuPS, and OLS, becoming a respected figure in Finnish football. He gained Finnish citizenship during his time in the country.

Following his playing career, Armstrong transitioned into management. He managed numerous Finnish clubs, including KuPS, RoPS, AC Oulu, and TP-47.
