Jump! (TV series)

Jump! was a Canadian dramatic television series that aired on CTV from 1984 to 1986. The show followed the lives of the young men and women training to become paratroopers in the Canadian Airborne Regiment. While fictional, the series attempted to portray the realities of military training and the personal challenges faced by the recruits.

The series was notable for its ensemble cast and its focus on the interpersonal relationships between the characters, both in and out of the rigorous training environment. Plotlines often explored themes of ambition, camaraderie, fear, and the psychological toll of military life.

Although Jump! was cancelled after two seasons, it garnered a dedicated following and has been remembered for its attempt to depict a relatively unexplored aspect of Canadian military experience on television. Reruns have occasionally aired on Canadian television networks.
