John Weeks (bishop)
John Weeks (died 1530) was an English clergyman and prelate who served as the Bishop of St David's in Wales from 1529 until his death the following year.
Relatively little is known about Weeks' early life and career prior to his elevation to the episcopate. He was a chaplain to Cardinal Thomas Wolsey, a powerful figure in the English government during the reign of Henry VIII. Wolsey's influence likely played a significant role in Weeks' appointment to the bishopric.
Weeks' time as Bishop of St David's was brief. He was consecrated in 1529 and died in 1530. His short tenure provides limited information about his activities and policies within the diocese. He was succeeded by Richard Rawlins.
