John Marshall (cricketer, born 1816)
John Marshall (born 29 September 1816, date of death unknown) was an English cricketer who played first-class cricket for Cambridge University, Cambridge Town Club, and other teams between 1839 and 1854. A right-handed batsman, he is recorded as having scored 636 runs in 21 first-class matches, with a highest score of 65. He also took 3 wickets, bowling with an unknown style. His career was primarily focused in the Cambridge area, and he was associated with the Cambridge Town and County Cricket Club. Information on his life outside of cricket is scarce.
