John Jeffreys (died 1715)

John Jeffreys (died 1715) was a British Member of Parliament for Breconshire.

Jeffreys was the son of Sir Jeffrey Jeffreys, MP for Brecon, and his wife Joan. He inherited his father's estates and political influence.

He served as Member of Parliament for Breconshire from 1701 to 1702 and again from 1705 until his death in 1715. His political leanings are generally considered to be Tory.

He married Elizabeth Herbert, daughter of William Herbert, 1st Marquess of Powis, and had one daughter, Mary. Following his death, Mary Jeffreys married William Morgan of Tredegar, significantly increasing the Morgan family's influence in Breconshire.
