John Frederick (Australian cricketer)

John Frederick (born c. 1862, date of death unknown) was an Australian cricketer who played first-class cricket for Tasmania.

Frederick was a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-pace bowler. He played a single first-class match for Tasmania against Victoria in February 1883 at the East Melbourne Cricket Ground. In that match, he scored 1 in the first innings and 3 in the second. He also bowled 16 overs, taking one wicket for 49 runs. He is not recorded as having played any other significant cricket matches. His place of birth and other biographical details remain largely unknown.
