John Deasy was a British Conservative Party politician who served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for the High Peak constituency in Derbyshire, England, from 2010 to 2017.

Born in 1967, Deasy was educated at St Mary's Catholic High School, Chesterfield, and the University of Birmingham. Before entering parliament, he worked in business, specifically within the financial services sector.

Deasy was first elected to Parliament in the 2010 general election, defeating the incumbent Labour MP, Tom Levitt. His parliamentary interests included areas such as welfare reform, employment, and the local economy of the High Peak.

In the 2015 general election, Deasy retained his seat with a reduced majority. However, he lost his seat to Labour's Ruth George in the 2017 general election. Following his defeat, Deasy has largely remained out of the public eye.
