Ochaby
Ochaby is a village located in Gmina Skoczów, Cieszyn County, Silesian Voivodeship, in southern Poland. Situated in the historical region of Cieszyn Silesia, it lies approximately 6 kilometers (4 miles) north-west of Skoczów, 12 kilometers (7 miles) north of Cieszyn, and 50 kilometers (31 miles) south-west of Katowice.
Historically, Ochaby was first mentioned in a written document in 1447. The area has agricultural traditions and is known for its rural character. The population is primarily Polish. The village also boasts certain tourist attractions, including a horse stud farm that has been operational for several decades.
