John Bosley (politician)
John Bosley (1926-2015) was a Canadian lawyer and politician. He served as a Progressive Conservative Member of Parliament for Niagara Falls from 1979 to 1988.
Born in St. Catharines, Ontario, Bosley was educated at the University of Toronto and Osgoode Hall Law School. He was called to the bar in 1951 and practiced law in Niagara Falls.
In the 1979 federal election, Bosley defeated incumbent Liberal MP Roy Cullen. He was re-elected in 1980 and 1984. During his time in Parliament, Bosley served on several committees and was a parliamentary secretary.
Following his defeat in the 1988 election, Bosley returned to practicing law. He was also active in community affairs. He died in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario in 2015.
