John Berryman (politician)

John Berryman (born December 3, 1955) is a Canadian politician who served as a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) in Saskatchewan from 1999 to 2016. He represented the constituency of Lloydminster. He was a member of the Saskatchewan Party.

Berryman held several cabinet portfolios during his time in government, including Minister of Environment, Minister of Justice and Attorney General, and Minister of Health. He was also Government House Leader.

Before entering provincial politics, Berryman was a practicing lawyer. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Saskatchewan and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Alberta.

He chose not to seek re-election in the 2016 Saskatchewan general election. Since leaving politics, he has returned to practicing law.
