Joe Clark (footballer, born 1920)
Joe Clark (born 1920) was an English professional footballer. He played as an inside forward. Clark began his career with Blackpool, joining them in 1938. His professional career was interrupted by the Second World War, during which he served in the armed forces. After the war, he returned to Blackpool but struggled to break into the first team. He subsequently moved to Tranmere Rovers, where he made a number of appearances in the Football League. After leaving Tranmere Rovers, details of his career are less well documented, but it is believed he played non-league football. Further biographical details are limited.
