Jim McCaffrey (footballer)

Jim McCaffrey is a former Gaelic footballer who played for the Dublin county team. He was a prominent player during the 1980s and early 1990s, primarily at midfield. McCaffrey won two All-Ireland Senior Football Championships with Dublin, in 1983 and 1995. He was also part of the Dublin team that won several Leinster Senior Football Championships and National Football League titles during that period. He is regarded as one of Dublin's finest midfielders of his era. His son, Jack McCaffrey, is also a prominent Gaelic footballer for Dublin.
