Jaspur

Jaspur (also sometimes spelled Kashipur) is a city and a municipal corporation in the Udham Singh Nagar district of the Indian state of Uttarakhand. It is located in the Terai region, known for its fertile plains.

History:

Jaspur has historical significance dating back to ancient times. It is believed to have been part of the ancient kingdom of Kuru.
