Jason Smart (footballer)

Jason Smart is an Australian rules footballer who played for the Port Adelaide Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL).

Smart was drafted by Port Adelaide with pick number 75 in the 2009 AFL Draft. He made his AFL debut in Round 1, 2011, against Collingwood. A medium defender, Smart played a handful of games for Port Adelaide across several seasons. He was known for his tackling and defensive pressure.

Smart was delisted by Port Adelaide at the end of the 2014 season. Following his delisting, he returned to play state league football. Specifics of his career post-AFL are not widely documented.
