Jason Costigan

Jason Costigan is an Australian politician. He served as a Member of the Queensland Legislative Assembly for the electoral district of Whitsunday from 2012 to 2020. Initially elected as a member of the Liberal National Party of Queensland (LNP), he was expelled from the party in 2019. Following his expulsion, he sat as an independent member. He later founded and led the North Queensland First party, which he dissolved in 2021. Prior to entering politics, Costigan worked in journalism and media. His political career was marked by controversy and shifting political affiliations.
