James Winchester (American football)
James Winchester (born April 6, 1986) is an American football long snapper for the Los Angeles Chargers of the National Football League (NFL).
Born in Oklahoma, Winchester played college football at the University of Oklahoma after transferring from the University of Oklahoma. While at Oklahoma, he was a walk-on and earned a scholarship.
Winchester has played professionally since 2012. Prior to joining the Chargers, he played for the Philadelphia Eagles, San Francisco 49ers, Kansas City Chiefs, and Cleveland Browns. He signed with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2015 and remained with them until 2024.
Throughout his NFL career, Winchester has been recognized for his consistent and reliable performance as a long snapper.
