James O'Connor (hurler)

James O'Connor is an Irish hurler. He generally plays in the half-back line for his club, Claughaun, and formerly for the Limerick senior inter-county team.

O'Connor first came to prominence with the Limerick minor hurling team, later progressing to the U-21 team. He made his senior inter-county debut in the early 2000s.

During his career with Limerick, O'Connor was known for his strong tackling and accurate striking from placed balls. He was a consistent member of the Limerick team, contributing to Munster Senior Hurling Championship campaigns. While he did not achieve All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship success with Limerick, he remained a dedicated servant to the county.

Following his inter-county career, O'Connor continued to play with his club, Claughaun.
