James Grady (author)
James Grady (born April 30, 1949) is an American author, primarily known for his thriller and suspense novels.
Grady was born in Shelby, Montana. He is best known for his debut novel, Six Days of the Condor (1974), which was adapted into the critically acclaimed film Three Days of the Condor (1975) starring Robert Redford and Faye Dunaway, as well as a television series titled Condor (2018).
Grady's work often features themes of government conspiracy, political corruption, and the moral ambiguities of espionage. His writing style is characterized by its fast-paced plots, intricate character development, and realistic depictions of the world of intelligence and counterintelligence.
Beyond Six Days of the Condor, Grady has written numerous other novels including Shadow of the Condor, Mad Dogs, Next Day, Razor Game, and Last Days of the Condor.
