James Cox (director)

James Cox is an American film director and screenwriter. He is best known for his 2003 film Wonderland, which chronicles the events surrounding the Wonderland murders.

Cox began his career as a screenwriter, selling scripts before transitioning to directing. His directorial debut was the 1998 film Highway, a road movie starring Jared Leto and Jake Gyllenhaal.

Other notable works by Cox include Wonderland (2003), which received critical acclaim for its depiction of the drug culture and violence surrounding the Wonderland Murders in Los Angeles. He followed this with Who the F** Is Arthur Fogel?* (2013), a documentary about concert promoter Arthur Fogel.
