Issa Diop (footballer)

Issa Diop (born 9 January 1997) is a French professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Premier League club Fulham.

Early Life and Career

Diop was born in Toulouse, France. He began his youth career at Toulouse FC, progressing through their academy system.

Club Career

• Toulouse FC: Diop made his professional debut for Toulouse FC in November 2015. He quickly established himself as a key player in the team's defense, becoming captain at a young age. He made numerous appearances in Ligue 1 for Toulouse before moving to England.

• West Ham United: In June 2018, Diop signed for West Ham United in the English Premier League for a reported club-record fee. He played regularly for the Hammers, forming partnerships with other central defenders.
