Imre Farkas (musician)

Imre Farkas is a Hungarian musician, primarily known for his virtuosity on the cimbalom. He is considered one of the leading contemporary cimbalom players, both in Hungary and internationally.

Farkas's repertoire spans a wide range of musical genres, including traditional Hungarian folk music, classical music (often arranged for the cimbalom), contemporary compositions, and world music collaborations.
