Ian Davis (politician)

Ian Davis is a former Australian politician who served as a Liberal Party member of the Victorian Legislative Council for the Eastern Victoria Region from 1992 to 2014.

During his time in parliament, Davis held various Shadow Ministerial portfolios, including Shadow Minister for Industry and Employment, Shadow Minister for Small Business, Shadow Minister for Energy and Resources, and Shadow Minister for Ports. He was known for his advocacy on issues related to regional development, small business, and the timber industry.

Prior to entering state parliament, Davis worked in agriculture.

Since retiring from politics, Davis has remained involved in various community and business ventures.
