John Kearns (politician)

John Kearns is a former politician in the United States. He served as a member of the Maryland House of Delegates, representing District 13 in Howard County. A Democrat, Kearns was first elected in 2007 and served until 2015. During his time in the legislature, he served on the House Ways and Means Committee. His legislative interests included education, transportation, and environmental issues. Prior to his service in the House of Delegates, Kearns was involved in community advocacy and served on local boards and commissions in Howard County. After leaving the House of Delegates, he continued to be involved in public affairs and policy discussions.
