Hushang (name)

Hushang is a Persian male given name. It derives from the legendary Peshdadian dynasty figure in Iranian mythology and folklore. In the Shahnameh (Book of Kings), Hushang is depicted as the third king of the world, succeeding his grandfather Keyumars.
