Schumacher (crater)
Schumacher is a lunar impact crater that lies on the far side of the Moon. It is located just to the north-northwest of the larger crater Pavlov, and east of Gage.
This is a relatively small, cup-shaped crater with a simple, well-defined rim. The interior is bowl-shaped and lacks any significant features. It has not been significantly eroded by subsequent impacts.
Schumacher was named in honor of German astronomer Heinrich Christian Schumacher.
The coordinates of Schumacher are 18.1° S, 133.3° W, and its diameter is 57 kilometers.
