Huiva (river)

The Huiva is a river located in the Komi Republic of Russia. It is a left tributary of the Pechora River. The Huiva's source is in the northern Ural Mountains, and it flows generally west and southwest through taiga forests before joining the Pechora. The river is primarily fed by snowmelt and rainfall. It is used for fishing and, to a lesser extent, navigation by small boats during the ice-free months. The surrounding area is sparsely populated.
